Aldermanbury, City of London

In conjunction with the building of the new Guildhall West Wing and public entrance Burns + Nice were commissioned to prepare a high quality street scene design for Aldermanbury between Gresham Street and Love Lane. This included improvements to the frontage of St Lawrence Jewry-next-Guildhall Church.

The scheme included new stone paving and limestone benches, shared pedestrian surfaces, a large raised limestone clad raised planter, street trees, cycle racks and improvements to an existing water pool and fountain. The scheme was implemented by the City of London and opened in May 2004.
