Middlesex Street Area Improvements

An appointment by the City of London to prepare proposals for public realm improvements for an area surrounding the Middlesex Street Estate and incorporating part of the Petticoat Lane Street Market.

Proposals include new paving, lighting, planting and public art works in association with local residents and businesses, which occupy the ground floor of the estate. A public exhibition and consultation was undertaken over the summer of 2003 with the final proposals implemented later that year.
