Melody Lane Highbury

B+N were commissioned to create a high quality environment for a terrace of nine 3-storey houses and two 2 storey courtyard houses in London Highbury. The new zinc clad buildings designed by Julian Cowie Architects were complemented by minimalist gardens.

The private gardens were paved in limestone, the semi-public courtyards in silver-grey granite. High quality planting and a sophisticated outdoor lighting concept create a distinctive contemporary atmosphere and underline the coherence between the architectural and the landscape scheme.
