Crawley Town Square Opening Party

Construction of Queens Square is complete and to celebrate Crawley Borough Council held a re-opening party on Saturday 7 October. 

Events included professional singing, dancing, music, street performers, face painting, balloon art and the turning on of the central 50 jet water feature.

Crawley Borough Council, West Sussex County Council and the Coast to Capital Local Economic Partnership have invested £3.2 million into revitalising Queens Square. The scheme redefines Queens Square as the heart of the town centre, creating a high quality, inviting, distinctive and enjoyable public space encouraging more people to visit, stay and make use of the area

The scheme includes new high quality paving, new and improved lighting, new seating, new street furniture, new planting and a central plaza and decorative water feature.
